It’s very almost Christmas! I hope you’re all enjoying the festivities, going out celebrating and having fun.
Now, I need to confess something this week…
My name is Hattie and I’m a ‘coataholic’! I have so many coats it’s taking over my hallway. I also have another confession, I added to my coat collection last week, whoops!
I just couldn’t help myself, I was shopping for Christmas presents and popped into one of my favourite vintage stores in Soho called Reign Vintage.
I’m not usually an impulse buyer but as soon as I put this coat on and put my hands in the extremely warm real suede pockets I just knew this coat was destined to be in my life. Now I know what you’re thinking, this is all sounding very dramatic and I sound like I’m making excuses and guess what, you’re probably right! But I’m telling the truth when I say I’ll wear this coat all the time.
Reign Vintage is located on Berwick Street in Soho. It’s a much more composed vintage shop than the classic jumble sale like ones you find elsewhere. They carefully select pieces and the prices are reasonable too, you should definitely check it out.
This coat was £70 which is amazing value considering it’s practically never been worn, the fantastic quality of suede on the outside, the real leather toggles and buttons and the very warm real shearling inside. It’s also got a detachable shearling hood.
So expect lots of future instagram pictures of me in my amazing new coat. I can’t wait to wear it when I’m home for Christmas next week, there’ll be lots of dog walks in the countryside and this coat is perfect for that.
Also a side note, I’m totally loving the colour brown this season.
