Normal Life Will Return!

Hey gals,

This weekends blog post is dedicated to all my friends and family who I have not seen in over 6 months to a year. After the road map announced by Boris on Monday, I am definitely feeling and just about seeing that light at the end of the tunnel. Life will return to normal.

We will be partying – on the Alps, in clubs, in people’s houses.

We will be drunk on the tube, heading to a club from ‘pre’s’ at someone’s house.

We will be getting dressed up, wearing anything but sweatshirt and joggers.

We will be having house parties for halloween, birthdays or just no reason at all.

We will be going to brunch with our best girlfriends on a sunny Saturday.

We will be travelling – exploring, eating food, seeing sights, swimming, sunbathing, relaxing on the beach.

We will be socialising outside – enjoying food cooked by someone else, enjoying drinks made my someone else.

We will be dancing – shaking our ass on the dance floor to our favourite tunes.

We will be attending gigs – watching our all time favourite bands perform our all time favourite songs.

We will be drunkenly throwing our hands up in the air with freedom, screaming when our favourite song comes on.

We will be enjoying our pint, our glass of wine, our cocktail and cheering with gathered friends.

We will be going to get Chinese in the early hours after being out all night.

We will be making our friends laugh (in real life) and being silly.

We will be seeing family we’ve not seen for ages and giving them the biggest long overdue squeeze.

We will be attending massive street parties and city events like Pride.

We will be going on holidays with our best friends, our partners, our families.

We will be rushing towards our gate and finding our seat on an aeroplane.

We will be discovering little bars we’ve never heard of with live music inside.

We will be partying in the tube lifts on the way to a club, probably annoying every other commuter.

We will be singing at the top of our voices without a care in the world.

We will be exploring new cities and countries.

We will be the office DJ’s at our epic work parties.

To all my friends and loved ones, we will be together again! Appreciating life like we never did before.

The sun is shining as I’m writing this, Spring is here and normal life is coming. For now let’s sit tight, stay safe and look forward to the future.
